About Our Project

Our project is to study a Brassica olercea plant, cabbage (I know, so exciting), when affected by an independent variable of our own choosing. Thus...we chose to saturate a couple of pots with different amounts of chlorophyll..that stuff that makes plants green! But, chlorophyll isn't just there to turn your plants green...it's vital for the photosynthesis process (when plants turn sunlight and water into food). Without it, plants wouldn't able to create their own food. More chlorophyll would hopefully make the photosynthesis process a lot faster, which means the growth will probably be impacted.

So we created a hypothesis: If chlorophyll is vital for plant growth and photosynthesis, then added chlorophyll allow the growing time to decrease.
